We knew this was going to be
‘one of those weddings’ from the moment we spoke to Olivia and Ed.
They had a crystal clear vision right from the outset, and we were the hands that were going to bring it all together.
And boy, this is one wedding we are so pleased to have been a part of.
Olivia knew everything she wanted; the colour scheme was to be grey, blush pink and rose gold, the theme was grand, elegant and most importantly … EPIC!
They wanted the best of the best; rose gold foiled Save the Dates, Pocketfold Invitations with stacks of rose gold foiling, a bespoke monogram to feature on the Save the Dates, the vellum bellybands and the outer envelopes for the invitations, and a foiled venue illustration of Elmore Court at the top of the invite.
When we say they had everything … they had, EVERYTHING.
The bespoke monogram is one that we really loved creating (no pun intended!) …
Olivia and Ed wanted a monogram to embrace the word L O V E, so we came up with something that encompassed the word, but put emphasis on their initials, and we must say…
we are pretty proud of it!
The hot foiling alone for these two was epic, but when we got the stage of
‘On the Day Stationery’ … Well they blew our minds!
Elmore Court is ‘one of those venues’ … a venue that holds its own with such elegance and grace, set in the most idyllic position. So we knew after the level Olivia and Ed took there invitations too, that the day stationery was going to be really fun to design and produce.
The brief again; EPIC.
Two fun facts about Olivia & Eds wedding stationery:
1) We’ve never produced so much individual signage for one couple!
2) They were the first couple to ever order an A0 welcome sign, and when it came to delivery … we realised we’d grossly under estimated how difficult it would be to send something so huge.
It ended up that Lauren and Ed had to have a rendezvous in a service station on the M5 to do a hand over … Luckily both cars JUST fit it in … but boy it was close!
A memory and lesson we won’t forget in a hurry!
We chose a mixture of Perspex and Foamboard signage, and it was all so bespoke and unique to the couple … we couldn’t believe it when we received the images from the Big day … it all looked so incredible. We can just imagine what all their lovely guests felt, coming across all these
thoughtful and beautiful touches at every turn.
We must take our hats off to Brett Symes Photography for capturing some incredible images from the big day – and we thank you hugely for taking some beautiful shots of the stationery, there’s nothing better for us than seeing things in situ.
Other suppliers that added to this incredible wedding were:
Florist: Maria Willcox
Stylist: Lauren Grey
Bridal Hair & Make Up: Spence & Oliver
Photobooth: Silver trailer photography
Safe to say – it certainly was one EPIC wedding.
Thank you Olivia and Ed for asking us to be a part of it all.
We loved it.
And finally, you both look wonderful.
Congratulations Guys X
