We had the absolute pleasure of working with Tara & Gary through the highs and the lows - it was quite the journey.
They had sadly planned to get married in 2020... but we all know what happened that year. After a couple of postponements, Tara & Gary tied the knot with their new born baby, family & friends and it looked like it was totally worth the wait!
We absolutely loved the sound of the brief, love an autumnal wedding and couldn't wait to get started on their designs.
Tara and Gary had a really clear vision of how they wanted their wedding to look and feel and the stationery had to match and reflect this vision.
With it being an October wedding, the theme was autumnal; deep reds, purple, burgundy, blush and lots of foliage. We instantly fell in love with the boldness of the palette and knew that we could come up with something truly unique to Tara & Gary.
We started off by creating a rich red & burgundy watercolour wash which would feature throughout their wedding stationery. This was the foundation of the design as everything was designed around this, so it had to be absolutely perfect and reflect a cozy, romantic autumnal wedding.
The tone was set with their wedding invitations and now it was all about making the much anticipated big day extra special with their bespoke day stationery.
Autumnal wedding invitations, wedding signage including a table plan, welcome sign and order of the day sign, menu cards, place name cards and bespoke illustrations for their table name cards. Their theme was modern chic meets rich elegance.
Photography credits to Kim Williams who captured their wedding day so perfectly and it certainly looked like it was worth the wait.
We’d love to bring your bespoke wedding stationery dreams to life
