Aimee & Gordon’s wedding was a pure joy to be a part of. It was a small wedding of 45 guests set at the idyllic Fox Hill manor in the Cotswolds on 3rd July, 2021.
Organic textures, natural colour tones with a serious splash of luxury is the only way to describe this wedding. It was opulent but somehow understated, quintessentially beautiful being set in the heart of the Cotswolds, with so many influences from the couples heritage and travels.
Some enquiries land in your inbox and you know you want to be a part of it, but Aimee and Gordon's wedding surpassed the best of our expectations.
Aimee and Gordon knew what they wanted, but needed us to bring it to life. Gordon had Aimee’s bespoke engagement ring made, featuring a fern and thistle, so it was clear that their heritage was to be a huge part of their wedding journey; this was our starting point.
We took inspiration from the ring and created a bespoke monogram that ultimately became the focal point for every piece of stationery.
It was to be elegant and delicate, modern but classic and a natural colour palette with a tonne of silver foil for that ultimate finish. Oh, and wax stamps… just because.
We started with the bespoke illustration for the monogram featuring the fern and thistle and used this on the save the date. It was with the pocketfold style invitation suite that we injected the colour palette and hot foiling.
We then used the organic, natural watercolour wash along with their typefaces and monogram to produce the biggest day stationery list to date. They literally had everything we could have possibly made for them; from whisky tasting labels to a bespoke hand drawn map of the venue that turned into an order of service booklet.
It's safe to say, every expectation was surpassed and Aimee & Gordon were delighted with how their stationery added to the magic of their big day.
